Winter demands the best. Insulated shells that don't compromise on mobility, thermal mid-layers engineered for sub-zero conditions, and outer shells that laugh at hostile weather. We've built the collection for extremes.
Shop the CollectionThe Winter Story
Winter cold isn't something to endure — it's something to engineer for. The Winter 2026 collection is built with extreme conditions as standard: insulated shells with 800-fill down for maximum warmth-to-weight, thermal mid-layers in performance Merino blends, and windproof membranes that seal out the cold without overheating you in movement.
These are pieces tested in the Alps, refined in the lab, and proven in the field. Every seam, every fill power, every membrane is chosen for one purpose: keeping you warm, dry, and mobile in the world's most hostile conditions.

"Winter doesn't care about your plans. Your jacket should."
Every piece in the Winter collection has been tested to failure at temperatures below -20°C. We don't compromise on insulation, membrane performance, or durability. The down is ethically sourced and certified. The seams are sealed with the same precision we apply to alpine expedition gear. And every jacket comes with a lifetime repair guarantee — because we've built them to last generations.

Down Outerwear — Winter 2026
Our most advanced insulated parka. The Blizzard uses 800-fill goose down in a baffle-box construction that eliminates cold spots and down migration. The outer shell is a 2L ripstop bonded to a windproof, water-resistant membrane. This is expedition-weight insulation in a jacket light enough to pack into a day pack — the most versatile winter layer ever made.

Made to Last
Every Rainburg piece is made in our studio in Hamburg's Speicherstadt district. No seasonal overruns, no subcontracting. For winter, we've elevated every standard: down sourced from certified suppliers with full chain of custody, membranes tested at -25°C, and every seam sealed to military specifications.
Winter testing isn't a checklist item — it's how we design. Extreme cold stress tests reveal the weaknesses in materials that don't show up in lab conditions. We push our prototypes into the Alps, the Arctic, and high altitude ranges where temperature swings and moisture management separate good gear from gear you trust with your life.
